Location: the hotel was right by a local pub, Marsh House Farm for a family camping trip and dual carriageway. Stayed in beautifully decorated and well-appointed double room with microwave.

This accommodation provides comfortable beddings with firm mattresses and black out blinds to ensure a peaceful night's sleep. Guests can also enjoy the beautiful scenery of the garden, pond, and lake, as well as lovely surrounding walks. Other advantages include helpful hosts willing to provide local advice, state, of, the, art toilet and shower facilities. Lastly, guests should not miss out on the delicious homemade breakfast served every morning along with fresh coffee.
Some guests might not be able to bird, watch in the garden, but that may not be an issue for everyone.

We had an amazing stay at Marsh House Farm! The hosts, Tracy and Brian, were simply outstanding. They made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The amenities were top-notch, from the delicious breakfast with homemade jam and fresh cheese scones to the well-equipped gym that I couldn't resist sneaking away to. The parking was plentiful, and the hard standing in the beautiful wooded garden was perfect for our caravan. The shower and laundry facilities were up to the minute and very convenient. We loved the fact that the property is animal-friendly, and we received a special welcome from Fred, the gentle black Labrador, and Zeus, the sleek black cat. We didn't have time for birdwatching, but I can imagine there would be lots of wildlife in the garden. Marsh House Farm is definitely worth a visit and we can't wait to return!

We had a great stay at the hotel. Best aspects were the lovely and cosy room with excellent en-suite, and the delicious breakfast with a wide range of options. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, providing us lifts and welcoming us with a cup of tea late at night.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

Stayed at a cozy countryside retreat for a couple of days and had a great time. The cottages were beautiful, clean, and designed to high standards. The owners were friendly and welcoming; they even cooked us breakfast on both mornings, from ingredients sourced locally. The location was serene, and the facilities were top-notch. The shower and toilet block had plenty of space, and the washing machine and tumble dryer room was very clean. there are ponds that guests can fish or workout in the on-site gym.
There was only one negative that I experienced. The location of the hotel was far from the city center, meaning it was inconvenient for those without a car, as I had to take a taxi every time I wanted to go.

The campsite had beautiful surroundings with a pond for fishing, lots of mature trees, and well-maintained grass. The concrete hard standing pitches were a great feature. The toilet block was clean and even had heating in May.
The staff were unwelcoming and unhelpful. We were charged extra for bringing our German Shepard, which was not mentioned before.
